Bears Ranked No. 6 in Preseason Poll

NJCAA DIII PRESEASON RANKINGS

CHARLOTTE, N.C. – Dallas College Brookhaven's volleyball team is ranked No. 6 in the National Junior College Athletic Association Division III preseason poll.

The Bears earned 60 points, six behind College of DuPage in the 15-team poll.

Dallas College Eastfield is the preseason favorite with eight first place votes and 90 points. Century College is No. 2 with 83 points, and Owens Community College No. 3 with 79.

Dallas College North Lake is No. 12 with 24 points.

The Bears went 15-17 last season, earning a trip to the national tournament, where they went 2-2.

Brookhaven opens the season Friday at the Fort Scott Invitational in Fort Scott, Kansas.
