Ten Bears' Soccer student-athletes earn All-Region/All-Conference honors/ Four named All-Americans
After completing an 8-0 Dallas Athletic Conference campaign, the Dallas College Brookhaven Women's Soccer team was represented with 10 selections to either the first or second All-Conference Teams. Tori Sifuentes, Italia Avila, Cynthia Lopez, Naia Fulton-Jones, Abigail Gutierrez, Lilee Simpson, and Adriana Padilla were tabbed 1st Team All-Region/All-Conference. Keyla Quiroz, Johana Rodriguez, and Julie Castro were named to the 2nd Team. The Bears also swept or shared all of the special awards as Tori Sifuentes was named the Most Valuable Player in the Dallas Athletic Conference. Naia Fulton-Jones was selected as the Goal Keeper of the Year. Cynthia Lopez received the Defender of the Year Award, and Abigail Gutierrez was named the Co-Offensive Player of the Year. Additionally, Coach Elder was selected as the Coach of the Year. Additionally, Sifuentes, Gutierrez, Lopez, and Avila were named to the First Team DIII NJCAA All-American Team.
