Stewart Named National Player of Week

CHARLOTTE, N.C. – Dallas College Brookhaven's Emma Stewart was named the National Junior College Athletic Association Division III Women's Soccer Player of the Week.

Stewart scored three goals, and had an assist as No. 2 Brookhaven won two games last week. She had two goals and assisted on another in a 3-0 win over Dallas College Mountain View. She had a goal in a 2-0 win over Dallas College North Lake.

Stewart has four goals and two assists, and is tied for fourth on the team with 10 points.

Brookhaven (8-1-2, 6-0-0 Dallas Athletic Conference) will host Dallas College Richland (4-3-1, 4-1-1 DAC) at 6 p.m. Friday.
