Stewart, Estrada Earn DAC Players of Week

IRVING, Texas – Dallas College Brookhaven's Emma Stewart and Miranda Estrada were named the Dallas Athletic Conference Women's Soccer Players of the Week.

Stewart, a sophomore midfielder from Arlington, Texas, had three goals and an assist as No. 2 Brookhaven won two conference games. She had two goals and an assist in a win over Dallas College Mountain View. She added a goal in a win over Dallas College North Lake.

Stewart has four goals and two assists this season.

A freshman goalkeeper from The Colony, Texas, Estrada posted two shutouts. She stopped one shot in the 3-0 win over Mountain View. She made two saves in the 2-0 win over North Lake.

Estrada is 8-1-2 with six shutouts and two combined clean sheets. She has a 0.40 goals against average and .875 save percentage.

Brookhaven (8-1-2, 6-0-0 DAC) hosts Dallas College Richland (4-3-1, 4-1-1) at 6 p.m. Friday.
