Reynolds Named DAC Defensive Player of Week

IRVING, Texas – Dallas College Brookhaven's Kenya Reynolds was selected as the Dallas Athletic Conference Women's Soccer Defensive Player of the Week.

A sophomore defender from The Colony, Texas, Reynolds was key in helping the No. 2 nationally-ranked Bears shut down No. 3 Dallas College Richland, 1-0, in a game that decided the DAC regular season championship. It was Brookhaven's third straight shutout and eighth of the season.

Reynolds also played a role in the Bears' 12-0 shutout of Dallas College Mountain View earlier in the week.

Brookhaven (9-2-1, 8-0-1 DAC) will host Dallas College Cedar Valley (9-4-1, 5-3-1) in the regular season finale 6 p.m. Tuesday.
