Boedeker Voted First Team All-DAC, Bears Win 7 Awards

DALLAS – Dallas College Brookhaven's Bradley Boedeker was named First Team All-Dallas Athletic Conference.

A third baseman, Boedeker batted .404 with eight home runs, 19 doubles, two triples, 45 runs batted in and 16 stolen bases.

Brett Petillo, Brady Breedlove, Clayten Mixon and Grady Silva were Second Team selections.

A first baseman, Petillo hit .382 with five home runs, 10 doubles, 42 RBI and 12 stolen bases.

Breedlove, a second baseman, batted .326 with seven homers, 16 doubles, 28 RBI and 36 stolen bases.

A right-handed pitcher, Mixon went 5-3 with two saves, a 5.07 earned run average and 68 strikeouts in 65.2 innings and 16 appearances.

Silva, a right-handed pitcher, was 2-4 with two saves, a 5.74 ERA and 28 strikeouts in 47 innings and 18 appearances.

Payton Stephenson and Aidan Baker were Honorable Mention All-DAC picks.

An outfielder, Stephenson hit .347 with seven doubles, three triples, four homers, 35 RBI and 14 stolen bases.

Baker, a left-handed pitcher, went 3-3 with a save, 5.64 ERA and 38 strikeouts in 60.2 innings.
